pool table in a garage

Well I might be moving and finally get a table. Issue is the only place for it would be the garage. I want room to play, and I can sacrifice the garage for parking.

Question is, I live in Arizona where its hotter than cold, garage may not be insulated to start. As long as the garage is closed and somewhat sealed, would I have any issues with the table after its set up?

It's not too bad to do. I had one in my garage for 3+ years with no ill effects. I have had a few customers use a portable AC unit that is vented out under the garage door, and they do surprisingly well.

If you are looking for a table to put in there, I have a few Diamond Pro-AMs and some Gold Crowns that need new homes.

I'd love a 9 foot crown, but the table going in there is my fiances that's being stored. I'll have new rails and cloth put on it.

How hard is it to add a ball return to stationery pockets?

It really depends on the table, but it is usually not worth the cost/trouble to put a return on a table that doesn't have one.
