My employer has an older pool table that he wants me to sell. I have looked all over and can't find any makers marks and was hoping someone on here might be able to point me in the right direction. I have looked online and there is one that looks similar but I don't know enough to really say.
The table came with his house and it is at least 20+ years old.

I will take a few pictures of the underside today. Maybe that will help?
Thank you.

Fairly basic. No large bolts underneath or anything like that. Is that a good sign in a sense of age?

hard to tell from the pics, but could be an old olhausen if they didnt put their plate on it on the earlier ones.
in any case old tables like these sell for 1000 to 2000.

That is the brand I thought it could be but figured there are some smart people here the might see something I don't. I hardly ever play and know virtually nothing about it. Now if you ask me about firearms, hunting or jeeps I can talk your ear off but pool...no. Lol.

It looks to be a model from the older Sterling line by Peter Vitalie.

Anyone have an old brochure?

I guess my next question is, where is a good place to try and sell it? Would this be something that would be better marketed towards the general public or someone more into the scene? A auction or just a classified?
Thank you for your help.

Here is what you should do. Check your local Craig's list and see what the sellers are asking. Don't assume that the tables are selling for the prices that are being asked. The market is saturated with used tables, the classified adds in the local newspaper is also a good option.

Real pool fanatics will buy used pool tables but most of us want competition tables and not the furniture type tables. Good luck with your sale and let us know how it all turns out.

Sold the table and this is some of the...wonder discovered. The slate is Zenith slate made in Italy and in one section there is a shinny deposit...quartz or diamond? Not sure but it is in the slate. Pretty cool table IMO.

And it has brass pins between the slate. I am probably preaching to the choir but this is the first time I have seen this.

My guess, RKC will probly know who made this table...
