Pool Table Movers - Cross Country

Good morning,
Can anyone recommend a good company for moving a table across country? Looking for someone who can disassemble, move and reassemble at the new location.
Thanks.

Where to where? What kind of table?

You'll probably need to arrange a pool table mover to load into freight and then a different team at the other end

I agree, you don't want or need to pay mechanics to sit behind a windshield if you really mean cross-country. Anybody who can assemble an IKEA bookshelf can disassemble a table, pack and load it. Of course the safe thing if you aren't there would be to hire pool table guys. Then you pay a shipper and hire a mechanic for set up.

I bought my table 5 states away and hired table guys near it to disassemble, store, pack and hire the shipper to bring it to me when I was ready. While it sat I even had them put new xloth on the rails and send the main bed cloth along with the table for me to install.

Sent from the future.

If you are handy, you can dismantle it. Plenty of mechanics can chime in on this point.

If you have any local table mechanics, you can also pay them to tag and bag everything for reassembly.

Day laborers can load a moving truck and you can do the same on the other end, laborers and a mechanic to help install and level the table.

It’s an Olhausen Waterfall. From Maine to Florida.
That’s not cross-country. That’s moving down south.

And if you do move it, I would wait at least 3-6 months before assembling it to let the wood acclimate to the climate. Would hate to break something just because the wood and humidity settling in.

Um

Just get a warranty on the table leveling from the installer, and get in writing that they will check the table out after 30 days.
