Pool Tournaments in the Philippines?

A buddy of mine is going to the Philippines in late February to early March 2016 and wondered if there might be any pro tournaments to watch in either Manila or Cebu.

If not, or maybe in addition, is there any way of knowing when and where there may be top players playing in the types of money games we see on YouTube?

Thanks. Can you be more specific? Where are the most likely places to find top players in action? Are some days/times better? Are big action matches announced anywhere?

Go to oneside in malate there's plenty of action there. You may also try Dehadista in cubao, action starts at 11pm to 12mn

Efren lives in Angeles City...about an hour from Manila.

Star Billiards, Token Billiard, Cathouse all in Manila. Star is my favorite of the 3. Not much in Cebu but it's beautiful there. Some of the best action I saw in the Philippines was in little hole in the wall places with a beautiful table & not much else in Olongapo and Santa Rita on Luzon several hours from Manila.

Try Dehadista Sports Bar in Cubao. Lots of action but starts at 12 mn. Theres also some betting taking place in Sta Lucia Mall in Cainta 30 min from the city Not too many tourneys but you will always get some action.
