Hi guys,

I might be heading to St Louis this weekend or early next week (8-10) before the DCC....I'm wondering if there are any must-go poolhalls in the city area. I think I've read WBM's thread about the Billiard Bullpen....are there any others? I know there are plenty of good players in SL, I'm sure there must be plenty of good poolhalls.

More importantly, are there any AZers who are gonna be there? Unless everyone is gonna be at the DCC at that time....

I'm at the DCC until 1/14 BUT you will find action at "The Break" in Cahokia, IL (just across the bridge from St. Louis.

I know one

Airport Billiards you can pick up some very rare videos , Cue and Cusion historical ,Chesterfield Billiards Clean with Action, Action Billiards enough said, Planet 8 Ball nice and action, The break nice with any action you think you can handle, One More Time very hard table if you can beat the ghost here quit your day job and challenge anyone. These are all very nice pool halls. The people at these parlors are all friendly and you get a fair deal for your dollar. I have fallen asleep at most of these places. It's a very nice pool players kind of community. Have fun.....but, don't get stuck to bad St. Louis it is a very strong town.

Teachers Billiards- St. Peters, MO
Chesterfield Billairds- Chesterfield, MO
Side Pockets- St. Charles, MO
Planet 8-Ball- St. Charles, MO
Teachers Billiards- Fairview Heights, IL (Andy Quinn's place)
Brendens Billiards- Fairview Heights, IL
Riverbend Billiards- Alton, IL
The Break- Cahokia, IL
Sharky's- Collinsville, IL
Billiard Bullpen- Collinsville, IL (Mark Wilson's place)

All locations (except Alton, IL) are just off of major interstates. I would recommend getting a map from www.mapquest.com and plan a route. If you're going to be stopping by Teachers or Brendens in Illinois, let me know, I live about 5 minutes from there, maybe I could stop in and say hello.
Enjoy the visit, you can't go wrong in any of the places listed. Have fun at DCC!
