For the men, this has certainly become a more difficult question of late. Ten years ago, I'd have quickly rattled off the BCA Open, Derby City, the US Open and the World 9-ball Championships. Right now, I'll go with Derby City, the World 9-ball Championships, the World 10-ball Championships, the US Open, the Shanghai Open, and, perhaps, the Dubai Open.
For the women, the majors, in my view, remain the US Open and the WPBA Nationals.

World 9 ball and 10 ball championships by far. The US Open is a big event, but the absence of Taiwanese players in that tournament makes a huge difference. I can name 10+ Taiwanese pros who have a legitimate shot at the US Open.
I've always thought the World 9 ball tournament was the biggest one, but it hasn't been as great of an event that it used to be in the earlier 2000s.
