Popular First Names In The Pool World

If you walk in any pool hall USA and yell "Hey Mike!!!" at least 5 guys will turn around.I thought this would make an interesting thread..

In my many years of being a pool player, these are the most common first names I have seen :

Mike/Micheal -- James/Jim/Jimmy -- John/Johnny

How many last names could you match with these first names?
Who'd like to try?:) :)

i have an idea. YOU write down all the names and i'll see if there's someone i don't recognize.

,,,or at least let me offer up a few first names for people to find matches.

1..."mika"
2..."efren"
3..."thorsten"
4..."vivian"

Your thread headline said "Popular First Names In The Pool World"
To answer your premise, i.e., "Hey Mike", etc, that's because these are popular names in the world, not just the pool world.

To have a popular name "in the pool world" would seem to me to mean a polpular name EXCLUSIVE to the pool world. For example, you go into your local room and yell out "Hey Triangle, what's up dog!" Or, "Hey, my man Masterchalk", or "6 ball, how you hittin 'em?" If a whole slew of guys look up at you, then you're on to something.
