Porper Model B lathe Value

I have a guy who has a Porper Model B lathe in like new condition. He has every available option including tendon threaded , extra live centers, the works. He also has about 1000 in tips, ferrules, glues cleaners, waxes, phenolics, you name it. Whats it worth. If I cant afford it I will help him by posting it on AZ. Appreciate the help and thanks

Tough call. Those really hold value. I seen a very nice clean one here in Florida with all the extra go for $2500 real quick. Only took a week to sell. I would pay $2000 for a good clean one, but wouldn't pay $3000. But opinions vary and I consider the extras just extras. Might be value there too with the right pieces.

I will offer $2,001.00 for it. The advantage of selling to me is you could probably buy it back next week for $1,500.00.
 
The guys asking 3500 but may sell for maybe 3200 but he's firm there. Lathe has every option proper offers and has a bucket of tips moori kamui tiger sniper u name it. He lives in Stevens point with about 100 miles south of me. My zip is 54548. Seems like they sell new for about 4300 with no options or extras. But with today's depressed economy, who knows. So if I was to offer 2500, that wouldn't be out of line?
