Portable spray booth

Just finished my portable spray setup . I can set on saw horses outside the door and spray , bring back inside to cure . Getting away from automotive because it's too unhealthy . This is perfect for the water based finish I've gone to . The motor and controller are from Penn. State , 3/8 drill rod for dead centers , flanged bearings , and brass stock for shaft collars , delrin for pulleys all from ebay . The rest of the hardware came from Lowes and Home Depot . I can spray 2 butts and 2 shafts or 4 butts , whatever , it works great . Slight adjustment on the motor controller . Epoxied the bearings in place . Wet sanded and burnished the drill rod to fit bearings . The drive belts I purchased from an industrial gasket company . Easy - peezy ...;) P1000666.jpg

Nice portable rig!! "It's an old Indian trick, but I think it will work".

Question: Where did you get the 3/8" drill rods with the 60 degree centers or did you grind them your self?

I need some precision 60s on 3/8 rod.
