Where do I go to play on some 9 footers in Portland, ME

I'll be there tomorrow night, Wed Apr30

Union Station Billiards would be my suggestion.

I'm not from Portland, so there may be other choices, but that's where we play some of our league tourneys, 9-footers.

yes Union Station is where to go, there is league night there tonight that starts at 7 for 8-Ball but there should still be some tables open.

I live downtown Portland Or. If you want to play on some great 9 foot tables go to Sams Billiards in SE Portland. They have about 15 9ft tables there. They also have 2 good 9 footers at Uptown Billiards off Burnside and 23rd Portland. If you want to practice some time or just play some games PM me and we could meet up. I normally go out on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Portland Maine is a bit far from us here in Orygun, Ti Tanic...

If there, I'd probably check to see if the Sea Dogs were playing, take in a fun Minor League baseball game...

Awe I see. I really thought we were the only Portland. I'm a little disappointed now aha

The Sea Dogs games are fun, and the stadium isn't far from Union Station Billiards.

Problem is its still rather cold here, probly miserable watching a game in this weather. During the summer, its a great time. And they have some pretty promising prospects playing this year.

You should head up Hawthorne some time and play. Uptown only has 2 9s? I think Sam's has 13 9s and a 10' snooker. I'm more of a small table guy. They're cheaper, too. ;)

Uptown does have 2 9ft tables. If you go all the way upstairs and look to the right of the bar they have both 9ft tables in a separate room than the 8 footers. I go to Touches all the time and they never charge me for pool. If you want to shoot some free pool sometime I go there a lot and they are quite a few pro's that play their as well. All their tables are 8 footers which I am the most used to at this point and you can't beat playing for free.

The Red Sox are good at spotting young talent...and drafting it! A friend in Ogunquit emailed, complaining he couldn't get Red Sox tickets. I suggested he check out a Sea Dogs game, since Oregon State standout Jacoby Ellsbury had just started playing for them. A few weeks later, a box came in the mail. It contained a Sea Dogs hat autographed by Jacoby. He didn't stay there long...has 2 world series rings from his time with the Red Sox. Became a free agent last year, so now making the big bucks with the Yankees. Sure is strange seeing him in pinstripes. Cindy & I still root for the Red Sox while hoping our local kid does well...

So yeah...if I was in Portland Maine, it would make for a great day...baseball, then pool!

Lol! So we can play some 14.1? I don't know if I've ever played a system user before.

Any game you want. Just remember that whatever happens, I'll still tell everyone I lost. :D

Dont make me unleash my new version of CTE on you......

Its most effective after several drinks, but past a certain point, slurring causes a drop in its effectiveness.
