Fantastic Cue!!!!!

That is just another example of the incredible work that Paul does, it doesn't get any better, maybe as good, if you're lucky. I guess it's time to take another trip to his shop. Lucky for me he's only an hour from where I live!

your right gregory, i've had everthing from a szam to hercek to tasc to southwest to scruggs to pfd to etc. and nothing has impressed as much w/ quality of design as this butterfly by fanelli!!!!

You see a lot of similar cues out there today but Paul was THE pioneer for bringing butterflies into a modern design.

This is often overlooked but his point/veneer work is also superb.

-Roger (great example of his work!!)

Yeah, but is he a Master Cue Builder? :D
Paul's wands are easily recognized across the pool hall. Beautiful wands. :)

Sadly, a Fanelli that never came to be:

See if you can dig one up with the veneers crossing, forming another point coming down from the joint. I've seen a couple of those, which also sport butterflies at the usual places and they are the most balanced cues (design-wise) that I've seen from Paul's shop. There's so much going on in those cues, but everything makes perfect sense.

I know exactly what you mean Roger. There is alot of work into those cues but the design goes together so well it just flows.

Both of you need some quiet reflecting time...in a corner. :)

Beautiful designs but playability?

I love Paul's butterfly designs but am not sure how the butterflies below the joint and above the shaft collar affect playability?? Won't all the added veneers, glue, different woods have the tendency to detract from consistency and feel?

Just a naive player seeking knowledge.
