Troy did you see my new cue at Joels? the Rosewood with the barbells in the maple windows?

Did I ever..You can ask Joel what I think of it.
One of my favorite cues.
Not real fancy but traditionally awesome!
You are going to love it.

This Is The Coolest Veneered Box I Think I Have Seen.... Traditional, And Fancy...... I Can't Wait For My Spot To Come Up.

Marcus I was at the Illinois state tourney 2 years ago and picked that one out from across the room. It is awesome in person and one of my favorites.Mike Montegano owns it and he just happens tolive in illinois. He is a nice guy as well.

Hey thanks!!!! That is my player. Joel and I went back and forth on that. He didn't like the way the miters were looking so we came up with that design. The cue's forearm is straight grain maple from Burton's old stock. Flat faced ivory joint, Penn linen wrap. The veneers in the box match the veneers in the points.

Joel played with the chain link for a while as well, each link is three in lays. The hard part he said, was keeping them looking consistant through out the cue, because of the diameter change.

Working with Joel is an absolute pleasure...........

Mike

You'll notice one has a signed forearm. I believe it's the only one, or was for a long time if he did another.
