Here's the link to my run of 33 in straight pool. Part of an older thread here called total chaos straight pool or something. The idea was to run as many balls as possible with crazy shots and without patterns etc. This is not my usual playing style... :)

Great shooting, you are one hell of a confident shot, you were rocketing some balls in there. Really good video to watch!

Hey Wilson, can you stick this?

Break and run videos

Good shooting mjantti! I have some questions for you if you don't mind.

1)Where does 14.1 rank in popularity to other pool games in your country?

2) What kind of equipment are you playing on? It looks like pretty good stuff on your video.

3) What was your camera/video set-up? The film quality was as good as any I've seen so far on this site.

That's a good idea Solly!

It's easy to set up a group on Youtube. Just call it something like AZBBreaknRun

I'd put them in the Pool section but I want to keep it focused on broad interest, mainly match type videos. It would get too hard to navigate if too many videos were added.

Here's the Pool group I set up for those who haven't found it already.
http://www.youtube.com/group/pool

It's already up to 53 videos. I'll probably have to break it up into categories like Trick Shots, Instruction and Matches soon.

exactly, thats why i thought of a seperate azb "R&B" section :p Rack and break section instead of making it a sticky or even a seperate part in the forum like the IPT part etc.

i WILL post some video's soon, but always something coming up. now its ilness. im as sick as u can get. maybe ill use the time to set up my idea. i hope its not to hard to set it up in youtube as my brain is working on 10% with all the medication.

Actually, I will be joining the FSQB this September. I thought about the ABO, but unfortunately I can only manage to play in one or the other.
Send me an e-mail. I probably know you, and vice versa. I used to play at Le Skratch from time to time (before .......you know).
My address is chotz1@sympatico.ca.

You must be pretty good if you're going to be playing in the pro FQSB tournaments. I've been playing in the A tournaments for a couple of years but I don't usually get very far.

I'm gonna get evaluated for FQSB by Francis Farley(he is AA player) later today(saying as we are friday now in my time zone)

8ball run and a couple of 9 ball.

I captured a few run outs from my session last night. I had several more but forgot to turn the camera on at first. Oops.
Not the prettiest but here is 1 8ball b&r, and 2 9ball b&r. One break I came up dry but ran from there.
Comments welcome.
My Video
Peace.

Hey Jon. Thanks for your comments...

1) Unfortunately pretty low. But as new players start playing, they often hear that 14.1 is one of best ways to learn the game. Finnish 14.1 championships has usually 50-60 players whereas 8- and 9-ball usually has around 100 or more.

2) Brunswick IV, a really good table, and not too wide pockets. Can't squeeze 2 balls side by side simultaneously to the pocket.

3) Hmm, I borrowed a good digital camera from work, Sony model (something) which uses DV-tapes. On a tripod of course. Then used FireWire and a Dr.Divx -software to capture and render the videostream. Works like a charm :)
