if you took photos with an i phone or something like that- send them to your laptop in small photo format. Then just save them to your laptop in that format and attach them to your post here - that always works for me here and I know nothing about most modern technology.

Samsung S8 and 99% is on phone.
And no one has any idea who made cue, I cannot even find one close to it. It is very plain buts hits amazingly and has the very old Irish linen wrap.
Text me and I'll send you the pics 714-321-9070

Very easy with the new AZ, drag and drop here inside of the chat box just as you write a comment, even if its quick comment you still can drag a picture then drop it here!

Very simple, then as to resize, you can resize inside of the box too, just hold a corner and make pic as small as you want :)

images on AZB should be less than 300Kb or under 1000 x 1000
jpg format is best compression

Actually, the new forum software will accommodate large pictures; I've tested images over 2000 pixels.

To begin, I recommend you make a folder (a new topic) in the Test Area.

In the picture below, I've created a ~Temp topic. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the Insert Image icon:

When you click on it, you'll get a drag-n-drop dialogue box:

Here, I am dropping in a pool-themed Merry Christmas image I made last year:

Finally, click on Post Reply. You can actually see this in the Test Area:

Guys, he's asking how to post LARGE images, as in, the FILE SIZE is too large. Either drop them in imgur and post as a link, or use some software to resize your image. I'd imagine you can find online image resizers, or get some free editing software. GIMP is a great free one, but it's not the easiest, takes a bit to get onto. Maybe someone can suggest another free software that has less of a learning curve.

I have an old version of JASC Paint Shop Pro 7, it's powerful but it's rather easy to operate. I purchased it but I have no idea, it might be abandonware by now, hopefully someone has a newer suggestion, this is from the late 90s.

if you can do python scripting, just drop the images in a folder and let it resize automatically.

you will need to know how to loop through files in a folder and call the resize and write new file functions.
standard if you look for tutorials.

If you have Windows, you may have gotten Paint for free. It has a very, very simple resize command. Use what ever it takes to get the larger side to 1000 pixels.

Again: please do not use a third party image hosting site such as Imgur.

I use Outlook for email and send them to myself, even on my cell. It gives the option to reduce the size.

online file service to image compression. Click on resize not continue. Free websites are cluttered.

If your using a computer, its a drag and drop from web browsers.

Do you know if this will work with a Chromebook?

Most all phones have a limited photo editor option in them. Extremely simple to crop, and resize. If you have android, I gave some short directions on how to do it a month or so ago.
