Pre-Match Statistics
With two world class players going at it this Tuesday on POV Pool, we just had to take a look at the Pool-Trax Pre-Match Statistics. Below you can see just how statistically even these two appear. Read more below the comparison...

While we don't have as many racks Trax'd for each player in 10-ball as we'd like, the 72 racks for Dennis Hatch and 63 racks for Carl Biado the above statistics are based on may yet provide some key data.
You'll quickly and first notice that many of the statistics here are very close. Remember, with the Pool-Trax.net Performance Rating system, a difference of around 50 between two players usually makes for a good, close match. The Shot-by-Shot numbers also tell of statistically close performances.
Comparing 37 previous 10-ball breaks for Hatch against 35 of Biado's, the numbers almost make you think your looking at one guy. It's not until we look at what happens after the break (B&W%) that something starts to be suggested. B&W% refers to Break and Win Percentage, or wins from own break percentage. Carlo was able to win on 22 of his own 35 previous 10-ball racks we've tracked, while Dennis was at 17 of his own 37. How will close will this be on to their production on Tuesday night?
Shooting stats also look very similar. While Dennis' show a small advantage in most areas, including a higher ration of Balls Pocket to Total Shots Tracked (BP:TST) and a more than 5 point spread in Complete Control Percentage (CC%), the Break and Run statistic largely favors Biado as he's B&R'd 1 out of every 5 breaks.
We'd like to also remind you that this match will be our Featured Live Statistics on Tuesday. Tune in to the live PPV match to see the action first hand, and keep up-to-the-minute Shot-by-Shot Statistics on our Featured Live Statistics page. Stats will automatically refresh after each rack.
