Kudos to you for doing this.
I will be working so won't be able to talk through phonel, but I will try my best to tune in.
I have few topics like :-

1). If there were to be "one" league system and hypothetically every league player played in it, and the same league organizes (amateur + pro) tournaments, will the state of pool be better or worse than it is now ?

2). Can pool attract general public (non-pool players) if every one (pros and amateurs) played the same game (lets say 8 ball) in tourney and league ?

3). Do you think that pro's in our sport are different than pro's in other sports when it comes to their attitude, personality and public image ?

4). Why can't we have one universal handicapping system for pool ? Will that be too tough to implement in different leagues ?

5). When I tell someone that I play pool, they instantly think of me as a "pool shark" or "hustler", why is that ? Is it because since the dawn pool players in media(movies, TV shows) are characterized as such ? How to change this stereotype ?

These are great questions...
Everyone loves the movie "the hustler". But did it set a precedent for pool that has snowballed ever since its release?

Interesting.

I totally agree with these questions/topics; especially handicapping and image of our professional players and our great game. If golf can have a universal handicap system, pool can and should, not easy but can be done. Every pool room would have to be rated. This can't be too hard. I am sure there are more golf courses than pool rooms.
