i think the reason i like these so much is Yow does shots that we have all seen before but the guy "ppooler" does thing i have never seen...like the cue ball balancing on the 8

I also think ppooler is very creative and entertaining, especially for coming up with new shots. However, the cue ball on black ball is not his own invention. The snooker player Cliff Thorburn is the best practitioner of this trick that I have seen.

Here is a video of Cliff.... unfortunately it does not include him playing this particular shot, but a similar one using two cues:

I like the shots where he massés the cue ball, then jumps it while it's still in motion.

Cute little table, ain't it? Looks like a 3 x 6.

Differences, Eric Yow performs trick shots on slate bed tables with regular sized pockets. This guy, makes some amazing shots...... but the pockets are huge on his table, and its a wood bed that acts more like a spring board for jump shots etc. No doubt he has talent, but I would bet Yow could take him in a competition setting.

You should phrase it like this: No offense to ppooler... His videos are great and some of those shots are pretty incredible, but Eric Yow's videos take the cake because he is using "REGULATION EQUIPMENT". Yow is using a slate table, it may be a bar box but he competes and does well on 9 foot slates. (Yow if you are reading this, I saw your pic in billiards digest, congrats in that event!)

Ppooler is pretty incredible, I have to give him credit, he is really making the best of a crappy situation. The room is obviously to small for a that already tiny table. The table has side pockets that stretch out past the rail and its not slate but never the less. Some of those shots are pretty damn incredible and I will give credit where it is due.

Great video ppooler.

Heath <---- more impressed with Eric Yow.

EDIT to Add: Just noticed the links that you added with the larger slate table. I stand corrected and am very impressed!

Heath <---- would still put his money on Yow for the win! :D
