Revisit the Snooker drill: Can't remember who to credit.

the stripes serve as reds. Just play it out as snooker with ball in hand on the first. Stephen Hendry doing the drill on a 12 foot table reached an incredible break.

Cold open: the cold balls and ivory ferule give a good reason to open with the slow roll double kiss.
Lefty open with 7. Finger warming....

7-0
-0-0-0-1-0-8-0no-11-oh Kay. One to the Chase.
Stephen Hendry mentioned the pause and his reasoning. My reason or justification is turning over the control to the ring finger. During the final change in focus. He mentioned the absolute focus on aim point on object ball. Never address a change in focus only final look. Which is final drop to the white. The final movement is quick in Ronnie and several others that I see doing well.

Finding Stephen Hendry inspiration.... not so much, maybe example is better word. Emulate is my goal. I marvel at the straight stroke that looks the same on every shot.
The inspiration leads to a 5 followed by a 9 by Lefty in the cold kiss opener. Taking 1 to the Chase. Right is only 1 behind on the Chase but Lefty owns the Cold Kiss .🤷

Last league night (Wednesday) I only felt like I hit one good shot. And it cost me the game of 9 ball.🤷
Sad story 😉, He miss the 8 and leave me the 8 and cue ball together on the foot rail with the 9 mid table ish. Upon closer inspection the two balls are maybe a half inch apart... but a couple inches off the rail at the far right diamond. There is a cut to the far corner But such a chance to foul the stroke. Upon extended study and contemplating I played the cut and made it. The cut was so thin that absolute max velocity was required of the cue ball. Getting the cue through and up and out of the way of the 90 mph rebound😁 barely getting the bridge hand up and clearing the cue ball to give the 9 a 3 pocket ride.😉 The cue ball reflection off the 9 went straight into the side.

Oh almost forgot the punch line.. At the handshake my opponent with the incredulous look said, "You shot that left handed!" I had to look at my hands to confirm that I did.🤷 I relate that I have no thought of left or right, just which can have the best shot. The switch is seamless and without thought.

Whichcraft like witchcraft: The flavor of the day. Like water witching only different.😉
At address I start with bellybutton and chin on the shot line holding the cue at the balance point. After the step on the line with shooting side the placement of the second foot is guided by the cradled cue. When the cue is on the shot line it's set the foot. Then the whichcraft is to gently nudge the cue offline with finger pressure. Then see if it returns to the line when relaxed grip is restored. Finding my personal balance point then set the bridge.
The technique agreed with Lefty and he opened with a 14. Personal record. Now to see if the right hand was paying attention.😉🤪🤷

Swing thought s are experiment in practice. Flavor of the day is Infinity. Once I put the line down, contact point to contact point. Which I calculate while standing. Then put the cue on the line and extend the center line to infinity. Then shift accuracy to the globe of the cue ball. The contact point and path through on the line to infinity. And uh don't forget the trigger finger is ring. Oh old habits still interfere at times of pressure.🤷🤪 Or even auto pilot. So I want Sully at the controls, as he was a classmate. I did get to fly a B-52 but I didn't get a badge.
Match room is providing snooker class again this morning.

Lei lesson: Oh Man, he fired 3 century s when down 3-0 going to 4. Then he declined a go for it Cole Dickson shot and played a weak safety. Should be fatal as Robertson already had 26. I would rather go down swinging than ducking.

Robertson hickup at 62 forces safety and again Lei declined a shot that comments indicated was what he would do. Weak to pathetic safety ends the lesson.
Jumping is the first step of Flying. Sure wish he had fired at both of his opportunities.

Honing a tool is oftentimes attempt with leather strope..... when grinder would be the appropriate tool.🤷
It's one thing to have the tools another knowing how to use them.
Amazing the money people will invest in equipment but couldn't imagine paying for lessons.🤪🤷

The walk off: As in surrender early. Honor require the finish. Ronnie has done it as have I. I won't do it again.
It was on the field of friendly strife. Ronnie brought the friendly strife this morning. Very entertaining and enlightened.

Left vs Right require the World Series narrative. Box score as well. Friendly banter, as that requires practice as well. The sales guy in me.😉 When they turn the banter on as a shark move. I am prepared.🤷

Ok my fingers are really cold.
Right opening the Slow Kiss with a 7 after Lefty posted a small ish number. 14-7 was Right's next shot. Just when he was feeling Cocky.

4-14 Right relinquish table.... with unicorn required. Well almost 😉
Lefty open with a 3. 7-14 with 2 positions remaining.
Final score of 11-15 is respect able.

Morning 2 ND day: Lefty takes the Slow Kiss 14-2, taking 1 to the Chase.
