Basic training:

The Plane, vertical that is
The dance needs to be executed to perfection.
Solving the Slow Kiss..,..
At address I align three centers, me, cue ball and object ball.
Establish the vertical plane. Entering stance the cue stays on the plane. My address has me holding the cue at it's balance point and using the cue as a gauge for where I want to plant the feet.
One, two.
I am feeling great vibes from the past master conversation. My first week was spent on just that simple step. Overload of system is the hazard of trying to learn it all at once. Eat the elephant one bite at a time. I am satisfied with the results.

So having the week in the memory archives doesn't mean (at my age) that I am good. Just that I have the ability to play good. Dedication of my first few minutes (or more 😉) to the Slow Kiss race to 10. Left vs Right. Do it daily for a week and call me the next morning.😉

The British call it bottle, we called it intestinal fortitude. There's fight or flight mixed with the desire to impress the Ladies. The survival instinct.
Matchroom provides a good background for my morning fitness, this morning. Another top drawer snooker event with the comments of Grand Masters.

Test time: I stand at address, close my eyes and step One Two. Open eyes and assessment. Wash rinse repeat.

More camera work: Using it for 10 second laps. The Right has insisted on the shot clock this morning. I get my laps in along with the training.🤷 Then Watch Revise Delete

Cold weather has me back at the finger warming station. Oh well Murphy and Wilson are on now.🤷 Could be educational.😁

Oh the Piano Lessons, my refusal to count to the metronome was the end of lessons. Coming back to haunt me now with the 10 second countdown in my hearing aids.
My fingers got cold so break declared at 4-3 lefty. The first 3 scores were doubles, one by right then 2 by Lefty.
An interesting challenge that should make me strong er well if it doesn't kill me (or break my brain)🤷😉 Break for fingers at 6-5 Right. Moved the camera to heater end giving a leisure ly turn to the table.

Making the Routine fun or interesting comes with challenge. The Shot clock camera is interesting and show me weak spot. Oh what fun. Extended stretch and flex this morning, light dusting of snow puts us at 32 degrees. Would have been a balmy day the winter I worked in Spokane.😉

Back to the finger warming station. Judd and Xiao are battling this morning. I can watch that from my station.
The laps are now an obstacle course. Took me a while to make a point but it's a point well made.😉
The obstacle course was a favorite in Basic training. My 6 minutes time earned me a quart of ice cream. A challenge my Upperclassman officer offered as that was his time the year before. I was the only one to collect. I did hear that some mods had been made to the course from the previous year.🤷 Oh well.😉

Lefty put a move on. Changing the challenge to the Mo Norman Kiss.off the foot rail to hit the eleven for a point.

Trailing 1-0 Lefty relinquish the cue at 13. Hmmmm I better warm the fingers real good.
Oh man it rolled off or uh no it's my fingers got cold. Yeah that's the one. Oh well 14-10 is respectable. I was doing it for the reps and the physical therapy of the stretch. Yeah that's my story.😉

Wow Judd has taken the Naughty Snooker to the Insolent level. The cut to the top corner was just pronounced Insolent in the commentary. He's on the hill 4-2.

Good morning, 7:33 am 1-21-23:
Cold morning and evolution; The Mo Norman has evolved into the Grady Mathews. Strike the foot rail at the marker with the cue ball to have it strike either of the wing balls. Of course bonus points for unusual....are negotiable.😉
Race to 10.......go

Time out.. it's Cold. ... need a ruling. Lefty the special got confused and hit perfect center ball. Request..... shoot again?...... Okay warm the fingers and go again.....Mr Special!

Multi task at the heater with deep squats . Squat Wad Do Gazz. Was a term of endearment. Well to a Basic Cadet

Lefty the Devious negotiate a double for the Backdoor Kick. Got the Yeah Sure Mr Special Sauce. He hits it and giggles. 4-3 Lefty.
The 10 second laps are an integral part of the Wellness program 🤷
