Practice practice practice

Whew Lefty has me .......
Front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or all wheel drive? Ronnie says yes to all the above.
Just got to the decider. Lots of looks at the eye s.

Grampa is playing with the camera. Mom!!
Just document of the morning stretch and flex or give it a kung foo name.

King foo name.....is GoofPaw
It's Cold this morning. Well not compared to the North East. Program choack on squat picture. Just imagine Gramps taking a squat. Probably why it went to the censors.🤷🤪

The Samurai wrestlers do the best squat. Yogi had a good one too. I call it the Frog which

Believe it or not was my first nickname 🤷

But the multi task is going from point to plane. The up and down lock in the plane.
The wonderful feeling of knowledge of what to do and how to do it.
Sad story: I was right there on the second chance side. I Had just caught up to go hill hill. It was alternate break and his. I felt if I got to the table it was mine for at least 3rd. He snapped the 9. He was just askarrred of me.🤷
4th in the A division got me kicked up. 🤷

Greg C. Howdy;

Looks like yer doin' a pool shooter's version of Ti-Che in post 1,123.

Speed that up and you may be considered to be a dangerous person sir.

Had to subscribe to DAZN to watch the Masters. Then unsubscribe after watching yesterday. $20 worth for each match makes it a bargain.
Mark Allen is down 4-0 at mid session to Barry Hawkins. The camera work gives me a good look at the eye patern of Mark as he telegraph with his brows and his eyes are large and on several shots was able to see movement of the pupils. His eye pattern is what works best for me. The tempo is part of the method.

The comments are a huge part of the value. Watching Judd and Day, presentation of lots of insights into Struggling. 2-2 at interval present s a Rambling opportunity.
Ramblin Alert and Replay most likely.
My First Big Boy victory came in Aberdeen. The place with the ship yard. Far enough away from the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia crew that $35 entry for bar table 8 ball race to 4, seemed inviting.
I arrived Saturday morning slightly fuzzy. As Friday night Ring game had taken me to close time. I walked into what looked Like The White Spot 9 ball academy. In a field of 24 there were a dozen Players.
So in the pre tournament interval, I asked Racetrack Rick, "who's the favorite here?" After taking a thought full survey of the dozen killers, Rick's reply was Clyde Boles. He was the eldest and wealthiest and highly skilled. Bar table 8 ball giving advantage to knowledge.
So my opponent in my opener was a local, house player. He could make a shot but no clue on shape. Just taking what he got he had me down 3-0 going to 4. I had missed one ball into a Valley side pocket. As I sat down after racking the 3rd and final time, I looked over and saw the two Olympia Players sweating my match. Clyde and Rick Jones, I had paid Rick $40 for a 9 ball lesson once😉. So I thought to myself, "If I manage to survive this match, I hope I play one of them next. They must think I am helpless."
Sure enough I survived and plaid Clyde next. I dispatched him 4-0 in like a half hour. The steam was coming from his ears and nostrils. His words at the handshake were to the effect of, "young man we can play some". My smiling reply was with respect and to the point of, "ok as soon as I am out of the tournament." I never went out and he didn't stick around for the finals late Sunday.

Study study study. The Masters provides observation combined with the comments of those who have been there done that. The knowledge is available.
My Observations are....well what I have seen, heard and felt. Well I feel Validated 😉.
The level of play provided in Ronnie vs Mark Williams was incredible. Far far above what the others have put on display.

When I get nervy the dance can calm me. Knowing that if I execute "to the best of my ability" it works. Usually 😉
The finger eye coordination being a dance step.
If I tightened up and followed protocol I get the make with blown shape. Which tells me....I had better be a shot maker. Giving me another chance to find and eliminate the glitch that keeps me from perfect.🤷

My theory is, the strings on a violin must be tight and tuned to play beautiful music. On the other hand the bungee needs to be loose and flexible to save the jumper 🤷

Notes from this morning lesson:
Mark Williams vs Jack Lisowski.
Match play master
One chance competition
Do the Simple Things Well

Some of my thoughts
Learn from the miss, it's more fun learning from theirs.😉
In the Chair body language is important. Well the meditation presentation is powerful.

A Stephen Hendry thought: well my note says, think clear over power.
My thought inspired by the comments.
Frustration
Desperation
Resignation

My deduction s after watching the Master Match.
Match Play Master is Mark Williams. He put it on display.👍 The comments provided knowledge, well make it available. One of Stephen's nuggets was narrative on the eyes being fixed on the object ball as the bridge hand is set. Sorry if you were not able to watch. There should be another lesson coming at noon, to determine who Mark will face in the finals. Could be a Barn burner.

My thought inspired by the comments.
Frustration
Desperation
Resignation
More of an outline of what I want to instill in the heart of my opponent. That way if they get a chance Even a thin one. The Fear Factor kicks in and a pot that includes a scratch is often the results.🤷

Mark put the power of thinking clear over power of the stroke. Doesn't mean he doesn't have the horse power available. Just prefer not to have to use it.😉 Like Quigley Down Under

That lesson was worth a review. Notes from the review:
Comfort Zone
Old School
Phenomenal Precision
Were all used in reference to Mark's play.
My 3 P's well after lettuce turnup and pea are;
Precision
Percentage
and Power
Experiment and experience give the cook the ability to tweek the recipe based on the big 3. Trinity keeps creeping into my mind.🤷
As for Jack
So either get forged in fire or burned to a crisp. He will play better next time. His coach was taking notes too.
Mark demonstrated the way pocket speed increases the size of the pocket on numerous shots. Precision in speed for me coming from the ring finger.

Greg in Experiment thread said:
I missed it, haven't heard Stephen this morning. The Grandmaster s are still spot on with comments.
The camera work absolutely shows the eye patern of both. Well the opposing patterns.
Today's title could be; Age and Trechery vs Youth and Exuberance. With Mark being credited with Gamesmanship vs Lisowski. Anyway I don't consider that a Bad word just like Hustling has variable meaning. To me part of Gamesmanship is the image projected at all times but especially when seated.
My observations show Marks cue ball placement to be superior (so far). Yet Judd leads 3-1 at interval. The eye patern is just one aspect of the Whole Shot Routine. The mechanics being solid and repeated from a stable platform is huge.
Lost count of how many times loosing the white was mentioned regarding Judd 🤷. That could change if he's settled.
Uh oh they are back.
I am so relieved to hear Stephen now. Maybe he was just quiet at first.😉
I have a napkin full of thoughts after watching the first session that Judd now leads 5-3.
