Practice practice practice

Just remembered the time a player got butt hurt and thought it disrespectful that Ronnie shot left handed.
Check out Ronnie at 6:25......Wonder if Selby thought that disrespectful too.😁

Whine whine whine:
Whiners gonna whine. Note to self, don't be That guy.
Selby complaint was disrespect to game. He really felt disrespected by the difficulty of the shots Ronnie was taking on. With total disregard for safe. Oh the comments give an accurate account. When Ronnie finally missed one, he smiled and sat down with a semi smirk. (Makes adults nervous wonder ing.... what's he up to..... with the presentation of....."where's that ball going?")
Ah the nerve of the guy😉

The match time is my complaint against Selby. The Anaconda.....likes the slow choke, squeezing the breath out. Ronnie and Mark Williams are better draw for my taste in fighting.😉 Although I did put a....uh rear naked on the (can't repeat the racist name I said in his ear) he was from a different culture.....and raised his hand at my wife. Held him until the police arrived. Ooops forgot the rerun tag. Sorry

15 minutes till, Ronnie time. Figures to be brief, with him on the hill. Mark Allen provides the best look at eye pattern. Both Ronnie and Selby are the hardest for me to read the eye pattern. Easiest look is the break off shot on those two. Possible long shot is different. Both show the rattlesnake eyes when down on the shot. The fear factor.

Practice in the cold this morning. Bringing the survival flashback. Well it has an upside.
Flashback alert:
Just quit handing him the game and see what happens. Tin Cup moment. But I won!

Just had an oh wow moment. In this position The shot in Colin's drill has the back cut on the one. In My Chase Tail I bank the 1 cross corner to the same pocket with the cue ball needing just a touch of right to go side rail foot rail then make the billiard on the 8. Finally made the bank and billiard.😁 For the 2 point shot. This one eluded me a long time. Hence the thrill. 😉

Watching snooker has me pumped. Hitting some personal records! Just trying to emulate what they are putting on display.
Ok my new personal best is also a personal worst. The left prevailing....22-3. 🤷 He said he could shoot. 😁

Selby and Yan at mid session interval with Yan ahead 11-9 and Selby just posted a century. Could be a barn burner.
When ever I played a cry baby, my inspiration talk to self ended with, "Give him something to cry about." Heh heh.

Have a mate or uh classmates to practice with is a big thing. So seriously I try to seriously seriously compete.
Kyren and Bingham match just produced a gold nugget on ......tips. The one on the cue. Best part of prospect ing. Again on the World class commentary. At the table with the match in my ears. I know to take a look when it gets quiet.

It seems a person described as elderly left something behind that had to be mopped after the frame. Long break as they were guided out.
Note to self: Don't be that guy. At the table, I mean at the.......oh nevermind.😉

Ball run, Forged in Fire and Ring Rust:
Bingham opens with a major fluke, then proceeded to shoot the lights out. Winning 4 in a row. Wow on the hill 12-8.
Kyren's temperament being put to the test.
My test at the Bullhead city 8 ball tournament, while fun and exhilarating to be competing. Put my ring rust on display. So many times I sat down with the thought, "now I remember, on a strange bar table......." My hanging ball being proof. Finally got into a semblance of stroke after walking in cold and late. Only to see a major fluke on the part of my final opponent. Leaving me a two rail kick at my hanging ball. I wasn't up to that test. Probably finished 1 out of the money.🤷 Still a success in that we enjoyed good competition and good social intercourse.

The Warrior gets the wiggly ball to drop!!! Finished and should be settled. I I recognize so many moments in the competition. Bingham missed the case ball for game set match.

Wow, finished 13-9 but last time it was 13-10 the other way.
Note to self discipline:
Learning from mistakes is part of the case hardened path.
I was avoiding reference to the commentary regarding, "playing at this level". Well because of the required response. "Sir my altitude is seven thousand two hundred and fifty feet above sea level." Ok I feel better now.
Post match analysis is critical. Monday was always film day. 1968 technology provided film. Coach McHargue provided uh analysis and input. He had taken a 2 years winless team to 31 games straight. The value of the videos is obvious to me.
Falling into a story:
My favorite moments during the Monday review of the game came when Coach hit his back up clicker, saying look at that hit! Smile E. Then again. I get to see their man go airborne and take a somersault before landing.
I earned the spot as lead man on our wall kickoff return. I was on the front line at the side of our bench. On kick I turned and went straight back. Staying 5 yards off the line. Watching the receiver. As soon as he catches I go straight to him. Survey for their fastest man. I had the block that is no longer allowed. The rest of the front line had gone straight to my path and followed forming the wall. Oh it worked well.

If it hurts it will only make you better. While the praise was uplifting the disdain could be painful.
Coach had me offended to the max in the middle of a tough battle. He pulled me out to insert our second string center (for one play). I hit the sideline and he had me by the face mask foaming about the man getting through to the quarterback. Not my man!!! Didn't matter. Sure elevated me, which I took back to the huddle. Grrrr!!!! It worked. Took me a long time to see his method.🤷

When solid with mechanics. As I am today. I survey the strategy. The comments allowed me to get the best part through comments while working. Well work is a four letter word with me. Playing at other things.
He took his eye off: Well that's the phrase but IMHO it's the focus or final thought (prayer?). Doesn't hurt to have pool gods. Just remembered they do bring Karma in a hand basket.
Since my highschool professional leaning was psychology, I think of it as the subconscious. Maintain ing the highest aspiration is my goal. So ambassador to the game. The true sportsman ship is uplifting. Plus the ballrun seems to fall in line.

Ah the good fortune: My little watch dog woke me in time for the morning Champion ship sessions. 2 AM here.
Ronnie vs Maguire on one table and Mark Williams vs Yan on the other.
The comments are providing bits and pieces of wisdom through out. Reminds me of when I drove cab in Reno. Something would happen and I would think, oh wow I can't wait to tell my friends. By the end of the shift there had been so many that I couldn't remember the first.
Mid session, it looks like Williams vs Yan might be the closest battle. Ronnie looks.... well like Ronnie and took a 3-1 score to break.

Wow just wow:
When I get a bad call!
In the third frame of Higgins vs Lizouski. I was almost giggles when the topic of Higgins eye patern came up after a couple of real good looks through the whole shot. The Grandmaster pronounced that his eyes came up to object ball last. None corrected him.
Huh? Then a side look was played that actually allowed me to see the eye lens. They had spoken of the longer distance his tip is at address. I saw the cue move forward about an inch before the lenses raised.
Maybe they don't have as good a look that I get. Still his brow movement does reflect the eye movement as I had always suspected.
Perhaps there is a prejudice for object ball last. Lizouski provides a good comparison of style as his eyes appear to come up ahead of the stroke.
My experience shooting both ways with object ball last for my biggest accomplishment early. With my more mature eyes plus good solid training in strike sports. I prefer cue ball last now. Plus I feel capable of much more precise shooting.

Tough decision now Ronnie vs Maguire or Williams vs Yan. ..... Left votes for Mark and right Ronnie. Will do rock paper scissors. Mark wins.😉🤷

There Comes A Shot; Should be my book title. Ok chapter 😉.
Just watched Judd hit that moment. He will win from here. All square at 8 going to 13.
Apposition where Apositive thought is my last. And it works. I know that I am ready to win.
Mid range shot just one that will test the tightness. Have faith and relax. The pause. The Rocket has a micropause. When it's a tester, he extends micro to two double or treble micro pause. Just giving the body and brain time to confirm. Then Pow Splat.
