Sunday Fun Day, Chalk Away. Plus Lefty picks The Zig Zag Arama for the finals. Right found the 4 railer so game on.
The 3 railer to the 14 wore me out.

Kind of looking for little tickle shots .
Station 1 was the right side rail. Right was all over it right away.closing the treetopped one handed station with a 9.....first blood. The picture is to target 2 with a Mosconi stance.
A very enjoyable challenge as with a little tickle Right closed station 2 with a 7 .
Looks like I am All Right Now. Leading 22-5, Right has elevated the Trash talking. Grrrr.....Piss me off, Please.

Lefty is feeling devilish an picked the same line that closed station 2 for the first leg of the 3 rails to the 10. So chalk is definitely allowed but in moderate.
An interesting study in how to get the required action off the 3rd rail. Consistently Right is long on the angle and Lefty is short on the angle. So the shot is there.....but will I ever hit it.

While the 3 rail attempts were educational and entertainment, the 4 railer out of the same corner was the winner. Time to cover the table. ☺
Have you ever found a strategy to get a "1?" in 3-ball?
Yes! My wife showed me the 3 ball break that can yield a 1. She got it from a player that went by Red in Reno in the 70s. As a bartender she would call Red if there was action. He tipped $50 for her tip to him. His best money game was 3 ball. 3 ball did provide me with my best single day haul of $1100 or there about.

I have made 2 for the $$ several times, never a"1"(came close many times). A"3" just advances the pot.
Last time I played, the pot rolled over 7 times and I was Hungry. Was in the last third of rotation --- PERFECT!

In my 3 rail kick practice I get a good demonstration of the down range effect of just a trace off center. Sometimes it is above and below center as well as side to side that yields a big difference in the path off the 3rd rail.

Well the race to 9 for each station could justify a match declaration with 28 total points total but sportsmanship dictate play on.
Lefty hits the 8 and extends his hand in Victory. Right declines and declares 27 is required by individual Now. Returns with a 5. It's a simple variation on the cocked hat. Kind of fun too.

Stephen Hendry speaks of his first coach forcing a pause. My pause is bringing the focus from distant to near. Just like focus of microscope. Adjustment that is slow and Deliberate to the final target. The visual focus comes first then the confirmation from Mental Focus. Hence the pause. Sometimes it is longer but that's a good thing.

Grady Mathews got me hooked on going up and down the rail while keeping the same target. A fun study that is a Power Tool. Besides I need the reps for the physical therapy. The mental therapist is paying attention as well.
