Practice what I Preach

NHK Japan YouTube channel has grand sumo 2024, which is either going on right now or just about to finish. Pretty amazing athleticism and footwork. We don't really follow sumo but my wife and I have really enjoyed the highlight videos.

Those guys definitely know about a solid stance.

The solid stance along with The Dance. Mark can slow dance or do the Cha cha. He even shoots looking away. 🤷‍♂️
My fitness program has me doing the exer geni lift with the pool cue. A no load stretching from the ground up as I watch the Champion of Champions finals. The advantage of a private room. Shrug

Cold morning Tuesday 11.19.24
Do the math.
Helps develop "a feel".
Geometry followed math.
Memorized multiplicity tables multiplication tables. Until the answers became reflex. 6×7=? 42 is a reflex answer. The Kicks Like A Mule program helps make for reflex solutions that require less computation time.
The 2 rail solutions gives me an opportunity to develop a feel. This morning study is tip hardness. My shooter with hard Tri angle vs phenolic break / jump cue.
The time the tip stays on the ball is noticed.

Oh wow Synchronization or uh synchronicity. Should be an interesting sermon 😉
The good thoughts method is proofed in my age ing. Sometimes older is wiser. Sometimes it's just Older and starting to smell. 🤷‍♂️
Thursday 11.21.24
The morning after. Still a little buzzed after a hard fought victory, playing the Girls.
The good thoughts theory gains validation with my opening 9 point shot. That's the good news. The bad news is, I can't remember which hand did it....oh well. I/we are here for the reps. Trophy 🏆 photo 😉

Low confidence drives feedback is an interesting read.
" Summary: A new study reveals that individuals with low confidence in their performance are more likely to seek corrective feedback, which significantly enhances their learning. By analyzing participants’ decisions during a memory task tied to monetary rewards."

The Monetary Rewards of my competition in pool definitely drove my desire to improve. The thrill of victory is enhanced when I win a beer. (My favorite opening wager. 😉)

WOW Whew. Is the favorite thought watching Ronnie o'sullivan play Barry Hawkins in the U K Championship. Blink and you will miss it... Ronnie lives up to that right out of the gate. Even having the hooked up way early and just searching to see who might be playing. I tuned back to see Ronnie sitting after opening century. 3-1 going to interval with a second century. Yeah. THE ROCKET is appropriate.
Hmmmm wonder what's going on with table 2.

The low confidence has an opposit....Cocky. A favorite tell. Money and Cocky was my favorite uh evening pass time." Whatever is comfortable" was my favorite response to. "How much?". 🤷‍♂️
A skilled McGoorty student. 🤷‍♂️ I always want to Study the best.
Soft spoken and un ass you me ing is my goal.

Study The Best is this morning treat. Matchroom making such a quality product available at a bargain price.
Students study study study 🤷‍♂️
Ronnie is putting it on display.

"This isn't practice ", is a favorite comment. Watching the Snooker U K Championship has Mark Allen vs Page. The comments are educational. What fun. 🤷‍♂️

The chop stick cue . Learning to operate:
1 find the balance.

The ring and middle fingers are all that's allowed to contact the cue. My left shoulder therapy makes an exer geni move from hip to ceiling a morning exercise.
My private room allows for pugil stick exercise.
Gotta chuckle remember ing the "cue twirler".
Better still is the Cadet member of the rifle drill team making the officer the joke. The morning inspection had the Cadet at present arms with the 10 pound m-1.
The officer thought he was fast and came up with an upper cut like snatch of the gun. Release is required. The officer liked to deride any that could not release as quickly as he could snatch.
When his hand touched the gun, the Cadet's hands were at his sides at perfect attention. The rifle appeared suspended in air when his estimated resistance far exceed the weight of the gun. It was hard not to smile at the look of him taking the gun....to the moon Alice. 🤷‍♂️ snorts and a snicker were heard. 🤷‍♂️

Matchroom just sneak a clear look at Mark Allen s eye pattern. Very interesting and validating.

Lol, I bet the officer was a little shook 😆

Certainly surprised, the uh "yea I meant to do that" expression was less than convincing. That was the last rifle he wanted to inspect. 🤷‍♂️ pretty sure that immediately preceeded Diss Missed and we got to go to chow.

No abbreviations was a big part of Basic training. That is not that's. 🤷‍♂️ That is an important part of my practice.

"They are Gim me z". Is a painful miss.
"Another mistake " is this morning's theme.
The Snooker matches rekindled memories of various competitions and the maturity factor. Seasoning that I have experience with both ends of the 6-0 or similar result. 🤷‍♂️
5-4 going to 6 should be a good study.
Wakelin vs Selt.

"Put on a show and perform at their best." Is a comment from the morning snooker. Trump vs Robertson is certainly a cheap lesson. Matchroom for 5 bucks a month is an incredible bargain. Shrug 🤷‍♂️
Comments add to the OooouGh!! Reaction I just experienced. Vicarious comes to mind.
Top Drawer.
Decent chances
Situation analysis
Drama
Back to the show.

"Unforced Errors and Easy Misses". A Hendry ass says mint of Ding vs Murphy in the U K Championship.
Hmmm , Gramp's latest product.
Ass Says Mints
Anyway the lesson is available now. 🤷‍♂️
Nuggets of wisdom or just Old Fart s follies.
Good morning. 😉

Easy shot miss....again.
"Someone has a screw loose". Oh she was fixing the ball track. 🤷‍♂️ Kinda applies to the easy shot miss as well. Tighten up the form.
