Practicing SPF & This Shot

i was shooting this shot/drill last night, concentrating on my SPF. there is about 1/4" total clearance here. obviously if the 1-Ball or 6-Ball move, the shot was unsuccessful.

just wondering what everyone thinks here? good concept? ok, but nothing great? waste of time? i was hitting the shots with various positions and speeds on the vertical axis. also, practiced shooting this with break speed using SPF principles.

Set up balls on either side of the cue ball track so that you have to shoot through a tunnel of balls. Can you still make the shot with the distractions?

sounds like an interesting thought. i have even done that before on draw shots, into the corner pockets.

have to give it a try tonight after i get home from the HS B'Ball game.

What is your goal for this drill? Is it to strengthen your shooting routine, or to increase your accuracy?

A drills should be focused with one specific goal.
