Prather full splice blanks

UPDATE****

I placed my order for a full splice blank (with veneers) exactly 2 weeks ago.

I was told on the phone it will take about 5 weeks for the blank to be ready Well today I get an email stating the blank was finished early and was shipped today. SWEET!

So in a couple days I will have a rosewood butt into straight grain maple forearm with black, red, blue, natural veneers.....

What are your opinions on the quality?

Did the blank come? Is the quality as expected? Inquiring minds want to know.

If possible, please post some pics. I would definitely like to see the quality.

sorry for the late response, the holiday held up the package.

Just got blank today and could not be happier, workmanship looks great. All points are even and very sharp.

rosewood/straight grain maple
black/red/blue/natural veneers.

overall length 32.5 in
tip of points to bottom of butt 23 in.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Prather (ie Jennifer). I ordered ONE item from a shop that probably does alot of large bulk orders. Her service was perfect from start to finish and the product was just as good. I will be ordering another or 2 here in a couple weeks.

now help me with finishing ideas guys...

Finishing ideas?
Measure from the base of the points up 12".
Have the joint there.
Make up the length on the end with another wood.
Maybe rosewood with maple windows?
Just throwing it out there.
Love the veneer color combo.

It is a Prather.....It is for sale on Mr. Abbots website. 950 is a good deal on that cue. I thought about buying it but am thinking of something else
