Three Incredible Playing Cues

As part of my continuing "unexpected college expenses" sale, I am putting 3 cues at exactly what I have in them, and I'm a reasonably smart shopper. All are monster players, but I have a Zylr on order and a Tucker, so I'll live. Add 3 % for Paypal, $15 for U.S. shipping/insurance. Sorry, but U.S. only unless I know you.

**SOLD** Pre-date Franklin SW $1,670 with 1 shaft. BEM into Goncola Alves - this one hits just like they say...really incredible. Micarta ferrule, all original with lots of use but nothing major. This price was a steal for me, is a steal for you. I wanted to try a pre-date Franklin and got to! Sold to me as weighing 20.2 but I play with about 19.0-19.5 and it feels perfect. If it wasn't for my Tucker, this would not be going anywhere. New Sniper tip just added Shaft has slight wobble, but plays fantastic. Measures a completely honest 13mm

ON EBAY Scruggs completely sneaky SP with 1 shaft. Guaranteed original shaft, bought from old player. Odd wood colors, but very nice old player. Has a water buffalo tip. Weighs around 19 and hits exactly like you want a Scruggs SP to hit - 5/16x14 piloted wood-to-wood joint. Refinish with French polish. On ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250082050600

**SOLD** - Zylr Sneaky Pete

Here are general pics. I have 6-8 pics of each cue - just email if you want more: moregruel@gmail.com

I just got a question asking if the Southwest rolls straight, together and apart, and for a pic of the cactus. Anyone care to explain the answers - as a seller my response would sound like b.s. to someone who doesn't understand. :)

This is a tremendous deal, especially on the SW and Zylr. If the SW doesn't sell fairly fast I will send it to Lori for a letter and probably stash it.

So buy now or forever hold your...whatever you're holding.

My apologies, but after pulling the SW out several times to answer questions, I've decided to keep it. I'm not usually wishy-washy about letting go of cues, and I honestly don't like how SW cues look...but, so far my beers are the only things that feel more natural in my hands.

Wow

Scott, your killing me man...
Shocked those didn't move immediately.
Don't blame you on the pre-date.

He probably does. But if you scroll up, you'll see that its not for sale anymore.

I woke up this morning and was very glad no one jumped on it in the 2 hrs that I had moronicly listed it for sale. Sometimes I look at all these cues laying around and say, "hey, how many can I hit with at once?" That's when I sell a few.

Now I'm thinking, "rotation, baby".

that was my SW... hit like a freight train....
glad ya were able to swing keepin it.... for now anyhow...
damn if we could just have endless monies to keep all our cues LOL

Hi Murf! Yeah, money is always an issue.

Okay, just to save people time with PM's on these cues:

The Zylr and the Scruggs SP are still available, and NO, I'm not coming down on the prices - I am a player/collector, not a dealer, and I'm not looking to make money on these! Zylr SP's come with 1 shaft for I believe $650 - this one comes with 2. Kerry doesn't make SP's with 2 shafts anymore. If you don't believe me, call him, then order one, then hope arthritis hasn't set in when your name comes up.

As part of a drive to sell $10K worth of 'stuff' in the next few weeks, my Alves forearm South West and Scruggs xtremely Sneaky Pete are back up for sale. I have a few others available, including a model 26 1/2 conversion (cherry wood, I believe) with a Burton Spain shaft, an old Hoppe Pro (dark walnut) conversion, possibly a PH Hoppe Pro - trade pending, Carom King (real Purpleheart veneer).

The South West now has a new Sniper tip on it - old tip was thin and kind of dry. Still $1,670 + shipping and Paypal fees (see description). Shaft has a touch of wobble, but definitely nothing that effects play.

The Scruggs SP is in the process of being refinished with French Polish - it will have a satin finish to it. Price reduced to $350 (+ship & paypal fees) because of very small crack at butt that is going nowhere.

More pics available - just PM me.

South West is sold.

Scruggs SP butt and bottom of shaft has now been refinished with French Polish and looks fantastic. I left the playing part of the shaft as-is.
