Pre-Flag Masters Chalk- Let's talk green

Pre-Flag green is a darker green than the Flag green. It probably shows up a bit more on the table. The newer green shows more. I actually prefer the green it works just as well as the blue. Its a toss up in reference to your hands and cue but if ones interest is playing pool and not interior color designer it should not matter.

There were two different greens pre flag...Mint Green and a darker shade that I can't think of the name. I bought a gross box of the darker green long ago and still use it. It works as good as the preflag blue. I don't think it stains the cue shaft nearly as much as the blue...it's still there but lighter than the blue so it doesn't show as much. I have Tournament Blue cloth on my home table and you can't see any marks at all...unless someone else brings in some blue. And it doesn't show on the standard Forest Green either.
At this point, I prefer the green. Nobody else likes to use it so they don't even pick it up. I normally hold it all the time and when there is no chalk on the table and I offer mine to my opponent, they usually turn it down...their loss.
It comes in handy when somebody tries to accuse me of hording the chalk on the table because you never see green chalk used anywhere.
If you have the chance to get some green preflag, don't worry about anything. It's good stuff as far as my experience tells me.

I found a brand new piece of pre flag green at the BCA in Vegas and started using it recently.
I actually like it better than the blue because it is not as messy as the blue.
Your hands and the table stay cleaner.
I tried to find some more to buy and couldn't fine it anywhere. Even posted a "Wanted" thread here to find some. No luck.
When I was at the Puyat Superbowl in Makati, they had half a box of the pre flag green that I love. They wouldn't sell it for any price. I did manage to weasle two new pieces out of them though! The girls at the counter thought i was crazy for wanting that chalk
I will bring some tomorrow for you to try out.

I always wonderd about that too, cause I love the light green masters but u never hear anything about preflag light green. Just blue. If anyone has any id buy it.
I too prefer the preflag light green master chalk. If anyone has some and would like to trade for the preflag blue, let me know. I have lots of the blue that I would trade for green.
