Predator BK3 Break Cues?

Bk3

Mine should arrive tomorrow, and I will review it. I purchased it from Seyberts for $398. I put in promo code "APARULES" and received 5% off, for a total of $379. Shipping to Canada was $4.95. Anything over $200 is free shipping in the U.S.

anybody actually buy this and try it out yet?

Here's a video review of how it performs and breaks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8zUbCg2oOE

And, yes, $398 is the lowest any retailer is allowed to sell it for, so you'll likely see that price everywhere online. The APA discount kanecalgary mentioned is a great deal since most retailers don't ever dare sell Predator cues for under 15% of the retail (since Predator can cut their supply off).

Not to be a douche but what is that video supposed to tell me? Without seeing him break with other curs in comparison how do you know what advantages if any he got out of using the bk 3

With the testing of any pool cue, there's not a lot of empirical data we can rely on unless some sort of repeatable standard is utilized to shoot with for every cue. Much as I would love to invent a pool shooting robot for these videos, it's not in my immediate future. The video is intended to give you an idea of what the cue is capable of on it's own merits.

I wills say that the carbon fiber core in the shaft definitely gives the cue additional power and you can feel it in your breaks.

Is that what makes it "spring back really fast"? Does it spring back faster than the BK2?

I just received my BK3 and I can't say enough great things about it.

This due definitely breaks harder and more accurately than any other break cue I've ever used and I have owned or used all of them at this point.

I feel like I'm breaking 20-30% harder and I'm squatting the cueball more accurately than ever. This is money well spent.

I am moving to this from the BK2 which I loved. The only drawback is no sport grip yet.
