Predator bk3 question

Dang it.....just read too many negative things about this joint to buy the cue.
Maybe it's all blown out of proportion though.

You are correct in thinking that the Uni-Loc joint problems are blown way put of proportion. It works just fine.
 
What are the negative things you've heard re the Uni Loc pin?

I know some have had the stainless pin and the brass insert lock up on occasion but beyond that, no problems. Thats pretty much a rarity.

Not my favorite pin in the world but we have and had Pred cues around the house for years and never experienced a problem.

If you don't like the pin but like the cue, have the pin changed out. I wouldn't worry overly about it.

A break cue, a very small percentage of time used. You break and set it down until your next break.

I've heard people complain about the joint on the bk2 coming loose and rattling.
Wanted to make sure this was not happening on the bk3.
Hope it's wrong or at least exaggerated.
