Predator cue question

I’m considering purchasing the cue pictured below. The description says the handle is black painted maple. If the cue was ever damaged and had to be recoated, would the handle have to be repainted?

It's a right pain to try to refinish these cues.
If you want a ebony/maple sneaky, buy a ebony/maple sneaky..

if you were to chip through the paint, yes. you would have to repaint the chip.

What do you mean by recoated?

I mean the clear coat. If I understand correctly, if the there’s a chip in the butt, the clear coat must be sanded off down to the wood and reapplied. I would be worried about the paint getting damaged if that happened.

It’s a cheap cue man.. it’s supposed to be a player that you don’t worry about that sort of think. If you were getting a 3k+ predator blak series or something I get it but not this.

Hold on a second. I am confused. What is the name of this cue? Did the description come from Predator? Is it a full or "true" splice that has a component painted black after being turned? Is the entire design (points, veneers, etc.) painted on? HOW CAN PREDATOR SELL THE LATTER AS A FULL OR TRUE SPLICE?
