Predator help please

I'm using TOI and 314/2 shaft. I have no problem.

After I switch to 314/2 it takes me only couple hours to accommodate to him.

I have a dilemma. I recently switched to an LD predator 314-2. I had used a standard shaft for years. I am pocketing balls better than ever. Played four tournament races to 7 this weekend and only missed six balls. Here's the problem, I can't control the cue ball for anything. I've always been known for having a good cue ball, but now I seem to juice everything. Will this change with time and consistency come? Or is it a downfall of ld shafts? If you can help please give me some ideas or some good drills to hone my control with the new shaft. Also side spin seems to take very inconsistently.

I don't think you need to use the TOI system, however, just "for the sake of science" try cuing the cue ball slightly to the right when cutting balls to the right, or slightly left when cutting the balls to the left. This will compensate and reduce your after contact spin and neutralize the exess "side spin" that you're' putting on the ball now.

With your Predator you won't have to adjust for much deflection, just make sure you're hitting the cue ball with an accelerating stroke. This will create a nice full sound as your object ball connects to the center of the pocket. You can always tell a great player by the sound of the ball contacting and hitting the pocket. Follow up

I have played with the 314-2 for about a year and very fond of it. Cue ball control has come along we'll. I don't think there is any way I would go back to a standard shaft. Thanks for your suggestions and help!
