For some reason the audio was the biggest issue when I got started doing
streaming. Now I got it all worked out but seems these guys are having the
same problem. I do like how they have the tables lined up and the the updates .
After watching and listening to this I am going to the shop and
recheck all my equipment before I do the tournament this weekend . For
sure if you try to set stuff up at the last minute using a laptop its always
a problem

I thought they hired some big company to live stream this stuff. I swear I remember reading that somewhere recently.

They should have hired Fast Lenny for the livestreaming. He'd of had it running smooth from the get go.
The company is Kozoom and they are from France. I would have to guess that traveling half way across the globe and setting up shop trouble-free the first time, could be a problem.
Still no commentary... better than nothing I guess.

It was my understanding that Kozoom specializes in streaming stuff. Is this their first time streaming in the states then? I wonder why DP would hire a company from France to do it and not an American company.

I think Predator has a lot of connections world wide. Perhaps the owner of Predator is French? Dragon Promotions is International in scope.
Kozoom has a great web site where they illustrate some of what they can do.
Maybe later today we will have some commentators or maybe they will wait until some of the players get knocked out and use them, if they are willing.

I looked at the web-site but I took Spanish in HS not French.
I am sure Predator is world wide, I just thought since the tourney is in America maybe they would hire American

We are doing a Jacoby tournament with a pro am event on
friday night . Looks like Earl and a few others that did not go
to this event will be there .If my avatar only had a cue too it
would be better .

Actually kozoom did the streaming for this last year also & the feed was much worse than this. Last year the feed stopped every few minutes & after refreshing constantly, hitting play & just waiting for them to get their end going again. You would be lucky to catch 10 mins of a 2 hr match.
This feed seems fine to me, NOW as well as the audio. The audio is fine as I can actually hear the words to all of the music being played in the background, well almost.
I'm getting a little bored without commentary so I am going to the pool hall to put some hurt on somebody.
I'll probably check back in later tonight to see what's happending.One thing I actually like is the audio is so good that I could actually hear Tony Robles clear his throat. LOL

Right now (May 13 3 pm LA time) we have such matches running as Deuel vs Hohmann, Orcullo vs Robles, vdBerg vs Jones, Morris vs Appleton, Kiamko vs Vann Corteza. What are they streaming? Lee vs Hemmah. No disrespect to them, "Black Widow" is a very nice player. But provided the pairs I mentioned are on now... I can't understand.

Amen! pooladddict you know they are checking the threads. I too had been waiting all day to check out the stream.TAR always explains quickly what the issue is and fixes it.Its a shame a big sponsor like Predator cant even live stream a match when TAR pulls it off easily and I am sure their budget isn't even close.
