Hello. I was just wanting some opinions on both these cues. I play with a 314-2 already and like the looks of both of these cues, and didn't know if anyone can notice a difference in the butt (feel, stiffness, balance point, etc). Thanks

the road line is fully spliced and is the nuts lol You got to hit both though. my friend loves his p3

I've been playing with the roadline (six point, linen wrap). I love the hit and I think it's the sharpest looking Predator cue out there. Happens to be one of the cheapest as well. My friend has a P3, which is also a great hit, but I prefer the roadline.

My 2 cents.

Awesome. Is there a reason why the extension was taken off the market in the US?

I know here in missouri a lot of guys have the roadlines that alone I'd go with p3 don't see many of those around here both hit about same imo

The predator extension? I don't know. I got one for christmas and they work great.

Roadline is awesome playing machine. Love mine and i own many of best customs that money can buy!

I guess hardly anyone has a p3. I do know those roadline cues are good looking.

I have a P2 and have shot with a few P3's. Honestly, they're about the same. P3 a hair thicker but I would never of noticed that unless I was looking for it. You just have to justify spending what $700-$800 for the P3 or about $400-$450 for the roadline. That being said I love my P2.

actually on the pre owned market there going cheap. I got my wrapped for $250 and and unwrapped for $300. Ridiculous bargains if you ask me.

I've been playing with a P3 for 4-5 months now and love the way it hits and feels, played with a RL a few times and felt really good...If i didn't get such a good deal on the P3 i would have gone with the RL.

really you can't make a bad choice with either of them.

I have a P3 (z2 shaft) and do love it. Unfortunately, I've never tried the roadline so I can't compare. Can only say that I've been very satisfied with the P3.

I want to add though that I think with the same shaft and tip, your playing ability with one cue or the other wouldn't be different. With cues of this quality, as long as you believe in your cue, the only thing limiting your play is you, not the cue. With that in mind, I'd probably buy whichever one I had a better feeling about based on looks, price, and perhaps your sense of how much the touted technology of the P3 might benefit you.

BTW, not sure why they call the Roadline "Sneaky Pete's" because none of them would fly under the radar as a house cue or any other low end no name.

predator cue.......

I changes to a predator last year. I started with a wrapless roadline I bought used on here and then bought a brand new one with a linen wrap on here also. I like both of them and both cues travel with me. Great cue for the money. I only have a few hours in with a P3 so it is hard for me to compare the two, but I am guessing either cue will shoot great.

I had a predator Ikon, but didn't like the sticky faux leather wrap. I wanted to just try a wrapless cue, and switched to a black wrapless p3 and settled in right away. It's a bit thicker than a normal butt, but I got used to it and even prefer it now.

Since I already had two z2 shafts, I just needed the p3 butt and Nielsen billiards in Illinois gave me a good deal and shipped it over right away.

The only p3 downside is the weight system needs a special tool to get the threaded weights out to adjust. But all new predators have that weight system now. That kit costs sixty bucks. Other than that it serves it's purpous well.

Also like another poster stated, the hit is a little empty in regards to the z2. I eventually went with Longoni s2 shaft made with a uni loc joint, and it was just the feel I was looking for.

Predator cues all play great. My problem with them is that I don't feel anything in the hit.

NOT EVEN CLOSE STATEMENT FOR ROADLINE CUE SIR! JAM UP HIT WITH FULL SPLICE. I FEEL SAME AS YOU DO ON ALL OTHER PREDATOR CUES INCLUDING P3 AS WELL P2 I OWNED YEARS AGO. ROADLINE IS A PURE PLAYING MACHINE WITH A MONSTER HIT. GREAT CUE IN ALL RESPECTS PERIOD.

Here's my dilemma. I can purchase either a p3, or a roadline. I want to also have the qr extension and both shafts (314-2 and z2), or get a custom purpleheart plain jane new with stainless steel 14 pin and mate it up with these shafts.
