Already the biggest pro promoter of 10B, women pool and junior pool globally, this year Predator Pro Billiard Series (PBS) launched entertaining invitationals like Challenge of Champions (8B 9B 10B) (Filler,Gorst,Biado) Mixed Doubles , Women Challenge of Champions.
It will kick off 2025 with Las Vegas men/women events https://probilliardseries.com/event/vegas-2025/ in Feb and also go multi discipline multi niche giving fans one pocket, bank pool, wheelchair events for first time (y)(y)

Also, Stage 2 of Predator 10ball World Cup begins today. Anyone have a link to the brackets?

Interesting that they are calling it a world cup in the same year that Matchroom had no World Cup of Pool. Wonder if it means anything.

if you mean the Qatar thing afaik there are no brackets. don't see Predator logo anywhere either. go on their site and it just lists live scores. https://qbsf.qa/ui/events/live-score

relative to the prize pool it's not a very tough field. one can name more relevant players absent than present. and filler, wojciech or raga against the field seems pretty safe

For me, he's already the greatest European player of all time. Yes, Ralf Souquet (and possibly Feijen) is, undeniably, still in the conversation, but Josh, at 27, has already produced about as many major titles as Ralf did in his entire career. Momentarily ignoring straight pool era legends like Greenleaf, Mosconi, Crane, Mizerak and Lassiter, I just cannot put Josh in the conversation with a Sigel, Strickland, Varner or Reyes quite yet, but he's already mentionable with the likes of Hall, Archer, SVB, and Pagulayan.

Still, in Filler, we may well be watching the best pool player that ever lived. In the last seven years of play, nobody has a track record that is even close to mentionable with that of Filler. He has major titles in most of the disciplines, too, showing that he is an all-around world beater, and his performance at the 2024 Derby City Classic (gold in 9ball, gold in 10ball, gold in bank pool, bronze in one pocket) might be the finest all-around performance in the history of our sport.

Shame on those who find it in vogue to knock his accomplishments to date and forever forward. When the biggest money is at stake, Josh has often been found beating strong fields, medium tough fields, and weaker fields alike. Nobody tops more strong fields than Filler, making him a champion's champion.

Filler is, in my opinion, the most exciting player to watch since Efren and I doubt even Matchroom could look you in the eye and suggest otherwise.

The vitrol of the personal attacks against Filler from the peanut gallery for spurning Matchroom is ridiculous. For all we know it was forced on him by sponsors and wasn't even his decision at all.

Well said. The smear campaign against him, in which many on our forum have chosen to participate, is regrettable and, to be fair, shocking.

Just imagine a sponsor wanting their sponsored player to actually go to their own damn event. Who do they think they are. Actually wanting a player to do something in return other than wear a stupid patch. The Gaul.
