If the customer shows up with the pad off i tell them to contact predator. Predator will not sell the pads and they will void the warranty if the cue doesn't have one. The reason for my original post.

Now if the pad is still there and they just need a new tip. Loctite gel is all i use. Great stuff.

Pad to ferrule --- Loctite gel melts the ferrule !
What do you use to put the pad back on the ferrule ?
Or do you not mess with it and send them back to preditor ?

Pad to ferrule

I've used PL premium adhesive on virtually anything and everything , all types of tips, ferrules , metal to metal , whatever,
Never had it melt or damage a surface and with the pad it will allow you lots of time to center it on the ferrule. Cures overnight.

Afraid not

No one is authorized to repair their shafts. They have one guy who i believe is located in Chicago. You have to visit Predators website for his contact info.

The only work I'll do on Predator cues is replace tips, clean (dent removal), install wraps (linen or leather).

Folks with ferrule issues, or cracked shafts, they need to go to predator to repair or possibly replace.

Just so you know, I know at least a few people who are, Steve Lomax, Joe Blackburn, and Paul Drexler for certain, and I think Joe Pechauer and Jacoby are as well - Now that doesn't mean they will take care of a seam issue (I'm speculating), but they can handle ferule, and silencer replacement, have done mine before and are authorized.
