Predator Revo Just Shaft

He is insanely picky about shaft wood (and everything else). When I was at his shop last year he had a very huge "not good enough" pile and a very small "good" pile. Same with wraps...

Yes you definitely get what you pay for with a Black Boar. No short cuts. Mine is a 1992 model and I wouldn't part with it for the world :-)

I have a SP2REVO2 Revo and tried the shaft on my Predator 8K04. They play the same in my opinion, so I know it works. Also tried it on other sticks with the same Uni-Lok joints and they all play good. So the shaft is what is good on the stick. I love my Revo Shaft and will never go back to Wood shafts form my every day player. These shafts are very dent and nick resistant. Very slick shafts, if it starts to get sticky, I just clean it with those cheap glass towelettes from Walmart. Mine has the standard soft Predator tip on it and it plays ok. As soon as this tip wears out I will be going to my favorite tip which is the Kamikazee Med.

I think they will sell at the expo for around $500 which is cheap in my opinion for a rugged, slick, no-deflection shaft that should last you a lifetime.

I agree with everything Tom says here, and as an update, they did become available at the SBE, and can be purchased at many outlets. Predator Revo 12.4 shafts are available alone, in Uni-loc and Radial joint configurations, for $500. I have both shafts, but am playing with the 12.4 right now.

Scott the more I use mine the more I love it. Plays very consistent with this shaft.
