Predator shafts joint diam?

Are all predator 314 and z shafts when you order them with just the basic black collar all the same diam on the collar?

i tried two shafts on my cue, one the 314 and the other the z both just plain black collar nothing custom. the 314 was pretty close to my cue but the z shaft on the collar end seemed to be about 1 mm bigger than the 314.

i was wondering if this is standard? are each the 314 and the z a standard size for all joints with the black collar? and does anyone know what it is if it is standard size, i couldnt find aything on the pred site.

I ordered one from Muellers with a .850" joint. I believe the standard is .840".

5/16x14: .835"-.840"
5/16x18: .825"-.830"
Uni-Loc: .842"
Partials: .870"

Doesn't matter if it's Z or 314 the joint diameter should be in the ranges listed above, at least that's what they should be.

I think it's worth the extra money to have a pred custom fit.

I'm going to have to agree with the Fart Sniffer on the ranges, considering we actually have a few varying diameters of Black Collars in our Predator Shaft selection. .
