Belhaj is the real deal. He coulda been a great contributor to a great many businesses and pool is lucky he chose it.
Of course he's all about Predator. Don't even pretend what's good for Predator is bad for cuesports.
Predator is an established brand by the pros and great entry into the amateur/junior level pro environment.
My first tournament I went solo and was jumping straight in the deep end. Its great Predator has visibility for young adults or parents.
Feels like the world is opening back up. I hope the same for Fedor and other athletes.
What is it with you and Fedor? As long as this Russia bullshit continues he's going to find life difficult. It sucks but it is what it is. Last i checked he's still in the states. He ought to think about applying for asylum. I wouldn't go back if it was me.

Predator is a huge brand and they make decent cues even with all the outsourcing they do. You can get away with aramith making a ball set or simonis making your own cloth. These companies will not put out sub par products. Tables is entirely a whole other animal. They should have set up a dedicated facility to execute on this not rely on a vendor. This is why I really like diamond. Made here at home. They build their own stuff and it seems like their mechanics are now selling more tables direct with install which is awesome. Being able to buy from the person installing and servicing your table is the way it should be.

Agreed, mostly: SAM is a quality table builder and I do believe is has been around longer than diamond.
Word on the streets was the poor play of the predator tables in Vegas was the result of their move/set-up...a hazard acknowledged by diamond an presumably a major reason for the development of the one piece slate tables.

Yea I haven't really researched to see what the set cause was. With that said you are paying ALOT of money for an outsourced table. I would go diamond all day every day over one of these tables. My pro am is built like a damn tank and I know it's gonna hold up over the years. Plus I have a really good diamond mechanic no clue who installs these predators.
