I’ve had extensive play time with a friends 314 no cat logo and loved it. Best shaft I’ve played with.

He told me he got it in the late 90’s when a salesman walked into the pool hall with a bunch of predator cues from the trunk of his car. They were all bought on the spot by the regulars. I guess they were the early adopters.

Most modern predator shafts are going to have less deflection then the pre-cat model shafts. Carbon fiber even less. I found not much diffrence in the precat and gen1, I never used gen2, I noticed a big diffrence in g1 and g3. I didn't notice a thing with g3 and carbon
