Predator

My brother has a predator cue. The cue slid down the table it was leaning on and when it smacked the floor the ferrule broke off. My brother told me to just pop another ferrule on there, but then, it wouldn't truly be a predator anymore. So I was wondering if predator has a guarantee (Doubt it) or are their any cuemakers authorized to install a new ferrule to predators specs?

Thanks,

Glenn

Both Glenn. I doubt if any guarantee would cover that though. You can call Predator and ask them. If it is not covered by their guarantee then they could probably have you send the shaft to them or tell you of someone nearer. I'm pretty sure that Mike Webb is authorized.

If this was a 314-2 or Z-2 ,when predator did there recall on the shafts some of the tennons were also cut to small or too thin and were breaking off easily, they will (should) fix it just call them at 1888 314 4111 and tell them the story. If this is a older shaft I can rebuild it to play the same as it was before with the right materials.I am a Predator dealer here in Canada and will soon be one of there repair centers.Hope this helps.

I'm authorized by Predator to do ferrules or for that matter, any other work you need done on a Predator shaft. I have the Gen 1 & Gen 2 ferrules in stock, both Z & 314. PM me. My credentials; I do all of the custom work for the largest Predator dealer in the world. I would suggest however that your first course of action be to contact the factory . You should call Darrin Brown at 1.888.314.4111 x 16.

i think their warranty is pretty good and covers anything except warpage and obvious abuse.i would call them and tell them it popped off.i am sure they would fix it.

KJ,
Is it possible to upgrade an old 314 or z to the new ferrule/tenon?
Will this combination be the same as a 314^2 or z^2?
Thanks,

I am also authorized to repair Predator shafts. I charge $20 to change the ferrules, $30 with the Everest tip. Darrin told me that it voids the warranty if you put the gen 2 ferrule on the gen 1 shaft.

Do you pay the shipping too?

No, I don't. S+H would run around $8. If the ferrule is cracked, I'll replace it for free but you still pay return S+H.
