What can I do to make it easier on the mechanic before he/she arrives to recover slate and level table?

Have everything cleared away from the table, and set a garbage can nearby.

I have my base setup and leveled with a machinest level and regular level it sat on, Hey RKC, do you have a better diagram for leveling the Slate ? The one in the sticky is to Blurry when I try to zoom in.
