Dechaine played well. Unlucky to lose rack one after jumping in the two. Very few mistakes. Awfully tough to beat Niels, but Mike played well, and Niels took the trouble to give credit to Mike in the post-match interview.

Team USA is being manhandled in the safety battles, even worse than last year.
 
Perhaps we should co opt China, Taiwan and the phillipines, still call it America, but without any American players, if we want to win.
 
Just waiting for someone to say it should be a race to 100 point and they'd crush Europe

You can see that the young guns have much better chemistry than any other pair on Team USA.

I agree completely... and the most frustrating part to me is that we are losing the decision battle, not just the execution battle.

And... why are we (mostly Shane) going for the really hard banks, kicks, etc... when there are much more reasonable safety shots available.... its a little frustrating.
