Nobody, and I mean NOBODY knows ivory better. David has been extremely helpful to me, and has always answered any questions with encyclopedic knowledge, and tells you the facts, not what he thinks you want to hear.
If you buy from him, rest assured you are getting quality material.

David's the only one I buy ivory from. Never have been disappointed about
anything I've gotten from him.

I have never been dissapointed with any of my Steve Klein cues, they play great.

doesn't he usually charge $3-$3.50 a sq in. though?this stuff is $2 sq in.

This is his seconds price. His first quality is 3 to 4.00 I believe. What makes this ivory seconds I have no idea. Could be the width or length or maybe the lack of figure. I've never asked him why but he usually has this at this price and I asked once what the difference was and he just said that it was not his first quality.

I bought some a little while ago, and was quite impressed with their quality, and the fast service. Unfortunatly I haven't gotten my inlay machine up to par yet to actually use it, but I'm sure when I use these slabs, they will be fine. And you can't beat the price.

That is the ivory that I used in my cues for years unless I needed longer pieces then I had to buy the more expensive. A couple of years ago I bought a 5' tusk and now have my own supply.
