I don't know if any body on here has been to The Red Carpet bar here in St. Cloud, but it's one of the most kick ass bars I've ever been in. It's an old motel converted into a bar. They have about 7-8 different bars all in one building, and wouldn't you know after wondering around the place for about 45 minutes I found a sweet little pool room type area!!!! The coolest part is some of the old pictures on the walls. I think this is one of the coolest bars I have ever seen or been in.

Here's a couple pics!

Bad a$$ town

Never been in that town, but St. Cloud is an awesome town. Stop into McDonalds meats on hwy 10 ...about 10 miles east of cloud, in Clearwater, mn. For the best beef jerky you've ever had. Clouds a college party town, great bars.

I used to stop in St. Cloud often on the way back from loading at ADM in Mankato.

Probably just as well that I didn't know about this place, otherwise I would have been a day late getting back home.

I was always running two log books so it would have been a good excuse to let them catch up with me.

Looks like a fun place tho.

Kinda my thought on the pics. you can tell at one point there was some serious pool played here, but not anymore. Definitely a BAR with some pool tables, not a pool hall with some bar in it.

I love the picture of Ronnie Allen.
It looks like he was talking while he was shooting...
...which he was wont to do....:)

My original home stomping grounds. Got lots of family in the area. Used to be small pool halls (4-8 tables) all over the place then.

Haven't been there in years. There used to be a little meat shop on the north side of town that made the best smoked sausages you ever knoshed, including a specialty pork sausage with steel-cut oats and raisins.

Dang - now I'm going to have to make a trip back there to pick up 50-60 pounds.
