Hello there,

today there was a SP convertion done by Ted Harris offered to me.

Don´t know anything about playbility and pricing of this cues.

Seems to be a bacote into maple blank. Point´s are not even. You can see glue lines and feel one of the points. Three silver(?) rings at phenolic buttcap, black joint ring at butt and shaft. No shining finish, looks like wax to me. Cue has one shaft and there is blueing on the butt, too. Pin looks like a short 3/8x10. No logo or sign. Saw only the butt and would rate it about 80%.

Can anybody help me. What´s the price range for this cue.

Thank´s a lot,
Stefan

Pricing might be tough on that one. You can keep in consideration, however, that it sounds to me like one of his very early cues. He might even want to have that one back. ;)

If you decide against it, I might be interested.

Rough guess

$350.00 minimum if everything is straight. Look under the bumper for numbers and you may find something there. It needs to be under 20 ozs. and have a shaft at least 12.7mm.

If gene is not interested I might be!

If CueDog Gene is not interested I might be! Please let us know if you pulled the trigger on the cue and pictures would be nice. What was the guy asking if you don't mind??? Also, ferrulles are they melamine? Ted used melamine ferrulles since the beginning of time after seeing them on SW cues and knowing how good they played. He is one of the few sneakies out there with melamine ferrulles. Early cues have the full length ferrulle new ones have the short 3/4 inch ferrulles. Anyways, if the shafts are not toothpicks I would be interested. Plus, check for a weight bolt? Ted never uses one!!!!! JUST THE GOOD OLE RUBBER PLUG IN THE BACK!
