anybody ever heard of a cue maker that signs his cues under the bumper "T. PRINCE". I have a plain jane tulipwood cue by him, but I know nothing about him.

He is in the 3rd Edition of the Blue Book of Pool Cues, pg 650-651. Out of Glendale Heights, Illinois. Never seen one of his cues, though. Joe
 
His name is Tim Prince. I bought a couple of his cues about 6 years ago and they hit ok but the workmanship was not too good. I imagine that he has improved since then. You must have one of his early cues? The cues that I have seen have a engraved crown of sorts on the butt. He is a nice fellow, met him in Chicago.

I believe Tim makes blanks for people more than cue nowadays, but it's been awhile since I've been to Chicgao, so things could have changed.

Tim Prince lives in Glendale Heights IL and has put on a couple of tips for me (he did a very nice job). He showed me some of his cues and I was very impressed with the workmanship and artistry, but I wasn't in the market for a new cue. His points looked particularly good. He's been making cues for over 10 years, I think, but he's a fairly young guy. He's a very nice guy and easy to work with.
