Pro One CTE - What are you looking at.

Hi All,
I would like to ask just one question.
I'm standing at a 45 degree angle looking at two visual lines lets say Left side of cue ball at A at the same time I can see a Centre To Edge line giving me two visual lines. This is easy to do.
At the Cue ball facing me I then look at one Cte line which is at the centre of the object ball which is a countiunation of the CTE line I then move in either left or right of that.

My question is do you guys maintain two lines behind the Cue ball or just one, once your visuals are locked in and sweep into that.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

you would maintain the position that the two lines placed you at. Now once in that position you are finished with the two lines and they are no longer needed. At this point you are just a sweep away from the shot line.

The lines just place you in a position a sweep away from the shot line.If you use the lines for anything other than positional placement a sweep away from the shotline, you will have inconsistent results.

EXACTLY!

VISUAL VISUAL VISUAL

Imagine:

Every day your job is to shoot 1000 straight in shots from various distances.

For each shot you have a specific identical visual offset that is so natural that you just see and shoot. (Left or right sweeps.)

So, very soon you'd just see the shots from your repeating visual offset and fall into a center to center alignment. Your eyes and body could handle this easily and after a few days you would be a visual/ physical expert at dropping to the shot line.

Essentially, the same occurrence happens across the board in CTE PRO ONE absent of the objective center to center awareness. The CTE PRO ONE constant VISUAL offset continually refines to be the same just as though you are shooting straight ins. You learn to TRUST in absence of the center to center objectivity.

Sure, because of the various distances your actual physical movements can vary but your VISUAL SWEEPs to each shot line are constant.

Plus the system connects with the the table...

CTE PRO ONE reduces the ZILLION shots to essentially ONE. So with eyes that have the computing power faster than the fastest super computers in the world, it's no wonder that our visual intelligence can learn to shoot one shot....

I am simply trying to share with all who are interested a very special visual offset that connects to the pockets over and over just as if you are always shooting zero angle shots from a constant visual offset.

I think the most important in cte pro one practice is to try and find your body offset and your focal points. For example, I have different focal points for some visuals. I don't know if this has to do with my eyes and my vision.
And then comes the footwork. Stan has demonstrated in one of his videos. I think this is another "personal thing". Again, we have to experiment a lot to find two movements that bring us to ccb. I do this only by moving my left foot in the same two positions all the time. One left foot position for the right movement and one for the left.

That's it. Body offset, focal points and two movements to ccb. Practice the same shots. See if you make any adjustments when you are down to shoot. You should not. The ball should go to the center of the pocket. Don't stop practicing the same shot until you hit center pocket without any adjustment. Don't look at the pocket or ob when down. When you start "connecting" with the visuals you should make the shot center pocket without practice strokes. Just listen to the "specific sound" that is produced by center pocketing !!!! You will recognise tjis sound !!!! It is so special !!!!

Thanks for reading my post.

One thing you should learn to do is get away from specific feet positioning once you become a decent pro1 shooter. learn to just focus on the correct lines and sweeping onto the shot line, this is important. Your eyes will move your feet/body to the correct position. You should be able to shoot the system standing on one foot, stretched out, shooting behind the back, rake, etc.

Feeling every part of your body when you practice is never a "bad thing". I practice ashtanga yoga and I know what I am talking about........... Don't you know anything about muscle memory ??????? Feet positions can make the difference in a lot of pro one practicioners. I also think that you are not a pro one practicioner. Maybe I am wrong.........

You are correct!

You are correct as well.

With CTE PRO ONE you become very body aware as you let you eyes lead. This is a great benefit of letting the body follow. A keen awareness can be acquired.

Thank you Mr Shuffett. That's right, awareness !!! That's why I mentioned yoga! You can develop great awareness with yoga practice. And practicing pro one with the same awareness will make things automatic. Practicing with awreness leads to muscle memory and body - cellular intelligence !!!!

never tried it ... but i hear it works pretty good :)

I have often said pro1 is the best way to learn how to "see and shoot" without having to shoot a million balls. Its also the best way to learn how to stroke straight and eliminate steering.

I do ashtanga yoga all the time!! :)

You know something?
You are a funny guy !!! I don't know why you keep posting here. The only thing you do is repeat Stan's previous posts. and I think you have nothing to do with pool or cte pro one !!! Have you been banned in the past and came back with a different name? Anyway, I like you!!! Stay with us !!!

all I do is repeat previous posts? lol I was thinking you were some banned member trying to finally figure out how to use the system? :D

Why don't you ask stan at what level of understanding of the system he thinks I have from reading my posts? :)

In my opinion you have "zero understanding" of the system and you have never played a single pro one shot. I have been practicing cte pro one since April 2011. Stan can confirm that. And yes I have had a hard time trying to figure out how it works. And if I could, I would have traveled from Greece to meet Stan and take lessons from him. He knows that. You can ask him how many e-mails I have sent to him the last 2,5 years.

Come on my friend, you can't hide from me. I know what you are doing. It is so obvious !

what have i said that is wrong? and what am I doing thats obvious?

I can say from reading your first post in this thread you are at a early learning stage of pro1. No offence meant but thats the feeling i get from the info you are sharing.

Lol !!! Yes, of course !!! I know some of the advanced "pro one users" !! Stan, Landon, Gerry Williams, and others !!!! Compared to them yes, I am at early stages !!!

How about you ??? Are you an advanced cte pro one user ???

Man, have you ever held a cue in your hands ??? Or just "trolling" here on AZ ???

No offence my friend, just asking !!!!!!
