Pro Skill Drills

I've been looking into some of the training DVDs and I have come across the Pro Skill Drills that are endorsed by Nick Varner. Has anyone else tried them? Any feedback would be appreciated
 
They are good, but are very difficult to get through the way they would like you too. Some of the drills require tremendous cue ball control, and I change equipment so much (and do not have a table at home) that I wouldn't be able to complete the entire DVD in a week.
 
Pro Skills Drills

I have the first set of 54 drills for intermediate and competitive players. This is a very good set of drills even though there are a few that are very difficult to do. Even the guy who did one of more difficult draw drills on the dvd, screamed a little when he finished it because it was so hard.

On the other hand, there are at least 6 - 12 drills that will help you improve and keep in stroke. You don't have to do them all to get much out of this drill series.

I wouldn't recommend getting the dvd. The book illustrates the drills quite clearly while watching the dvd gets boring fast.

These are the "Pro Skill Drills" there are 5 of them and they have a picture of Nick Varner on them and they come in a book and DVD
 
I agree that the drills are pretty good. Like anything else, the hard part is taking the time to do them.

IMHO, the DVD is just not necessary when you have the book. I have both DVD and the first book, and it was worth it but did not see a need to purchase the additional releases.

Bob Henning has the "Pro Book" Series

The whole series is worth getting. The DVD complements the book. The DVD shows how the shots are performed and the book describes them and can be used to set them up.


Pro Skill Drills is different

Don't have it but what I have seen there are plenty of drills that are available on the web.

It is a little confusing with both titles being a little similar.
