problem getting a Viattorre cue - and suggestions?

-----I bought the cue called "Lance" on Jacks website from a buddy in England. I couldnt belive that it made it through customs. Some poor elephant went kicking and screaming into that cue. It came EMS as I recall.
-----Had a guy in PI offer me an entire tusk. Still trying to figure how to get that over here. I like the south of the boarder idea. Stuff it under my shirt and make a run for it. Cant be to hard. 11 milion other people have succeed. Better chances than the Megamillions.

A friend of mine ordered a Viattorre cue about 17 months ago. It was recently shipped to him by Jackson Tan of Viattorre cues. Just today he heard that, " PARKS AND WILDLIFE, A DIVISION OF US CUSTOMS HAS SEIZED THE CUE BECALUSE THEY BELIEVE IT CONTAINS ELEPHANT IVORY. FED EX SAYS THAT THEY WILL CONTACT ME."

WTF? Any suggestions for him? Any help will be appreciated.

I think they do random checks and the cue was picked to be inspected and someone wanted to make an example out of it. There's no way they check every cue that's shipped internationally and unfortunately this Viattore cue was checked. Good luck getting the cue.
