Problem pin- can I fix it myself?

Hello good cuemakers.

I have an OB sneaky pete cue where the pin has come unscrewed from the butt. It is not loose in the sense of wiggling, it just unscrews. To save the shipping and hassle of sending it out, is there a DIY fix I can do at home to re-seat this pin?

Man, I'm sorry you've had that problem!

You could epoxy it back in, but to be honest, I'd rather we get it back here so we can make sure everything else is ok.

Give us a call at 972-578-9100 and ask for Doc. He should be able to get you taken care of. It would be a very quick turn around if it's just the pin.

Again, sorry about the problem, but we can get it taken care of very easily.

Thanks Royce, I didn't buy it from an authorized OB dealer so that was part of the reason I didn't ship it back. The cue is great and has zero issues except this. If you think it is worth shipping out for this fix, I'll do that.

You're right about the warranty applying to the original retail buyer, but in this case I'd kind of like to get a look at it anyway.

I'd be happy to take care of it for you as a goodwill gesture just so we could get a look at it to see what happened.
